We have to change – now and here.

During our lifetimes, we collect an awful lot of stuff, from mass-produced disposables to very rare items. Which used to be okay and insignificant in the past. Today, the same behaviour is devastating. Humans have cultivated 70 percent of usable land mass on earth, and affected two-third of its oceans.

It doesn’t stop by itself

The process feeds itself: Scarcity equals “costly signals” and horns become more valuable with fewer rhinoceroses. Which makes hunting on endangered species an increasingly profitable affair. Capitalism created a mechanism that rewards us with foolhardily depleting earth. Yes, we are destroying this unique planet in space and time that you, me, our kin and millions of fellow life forms source from.
